The platform offers a reliable system that supports various types of transactions, with a special focus on vehicle sales and purchases, by using advanced electronic verification procedures and direct integration with official authorities to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. "Damana" operates through a transaction account in an accredited bank, where funds are held until all agreed-upon conditions between the parties are fulfilled, after which the amounts are transferred to the entitled recipients according to the terms of the agreement, ensuring the protection of rights and enhancing trust among all parties.
Is Damana considered a government platform?
Damana” is not a government platform, but it has official approval from the Central Bank of Jordan and operates within the regulatory sandbox environment. It is formally integrated with government systems and entities to ensure the reliability of operations, such as Sanad, the Vehicle Licensing Department, the eFAWATEERcom payment system, and licensed local banks.

What is the escrow account used on the Damana platform?
The escrow account is an independent bank account regulated by instructions issued by the Central Bank of Jordan. It is designated to hold the funds related to transactions conducted through the Damana platform and keeps the amount secure until the transaction conditions between the parties are met. This account provides legal and financial protection, ensuring the rights of all parties.
Why is the escrow account used? And how does it operate within the platform?
The escrow account is used to protect both parties (seller and buyer). At the start of the transaction, the buyer transfers the amount to the escrow account via the eFAWATEERcom system. Upon completion of the ownership transfer, the amount is released to the seller through approved payment channels. In case of a dispute or a request to cancel the Damana transaction, the amount is returned to the entitled party after verifying the completion of the cancellation procedures. Who owns the escrow account? Is it registered under the user’s name or under Damana’s name?
The escrow account is managed by the Damana platform at an accredited bank. It is a licensed account subject to specific regulations issued by the Central Bank of Jordan and is used exclusively to serve Damana users in transactions carried out through the platform. The account is not registered under the user’s name, but it is dedicated to executing their transactions securely and transparently
